Marissa Meyer's new series about a cyborg girl, is a Cinderella story for the new century. "Cinder" book #1 of "The Lunar Chronicles" is equal parts action, intrigue, and dystopian/sci-fi. Add just a hint of budding romance and some space travel and you get the idea! A super cool upgrade on Cinderella!
